Records are primarily from the files of Sister Colette Mahoney and date from the beginning of her tenure as president of Marymount Manhattan College in 1967. Included are correspondence, annual, departmental, and other reports, speeches, invitations, and memos. These concern general matters relating to the work of the president. Also, files on the college's former presidents, including Mother du Sacré Coeur Smith, Mother Raymund McKay, Mother Jogues Egan, Sister Elizabeth Marie Keeler, as well as Sister Colette Mahoney, containing photographs, clippings, printed material, and other materials that provide biographical data about the presidents. Of note are correspondence, memos, notes, and reports, 1971-1978, concerning Marymount Manhattan College's affiliation with Mannes College of Music.
